Walk 3 of the Cherry Pie Walks - The Three Pubs Walk.

A longer walk (4 1/2 miles, climbing 391ft) ideal for a sunny afternoon before dinner

From the Cherry Pie Inn cross the Mold-Denbigh road and follow the signposted footpath. The sign is partially concealed by a lilac bush. Take the bridle path (Byway) (1) to the left and carry on (with a bit of huffing and puffing) 'till you reach the top of the hill. About half way up you will see a cottage; this is Llety Eos, (The Home of the Nightingale). At the top of the hill turn left (2), then right (3) into Nannerch Village, past St Michael and All Angels Church, after which you will arrive at the Cross Foxes Pub (4).

Retrace your steps but keep on the old Mold-Denbigh road (5) crossing over (6) and after a mile you will reach the Crown Inn, Lixwm (7).  

Follow the road on and in a short while turn left (8). Pass a chapel on your right (9). Carry on to the village of Ysceifiog and the Fox Inn (10). Turn left  and carry on back to the Cherry Pie Inn.

Paths on this walk can be muddy after wet weather. Boots are recommended.
