Walk 9 of the Cherry Pie Walks including the Fisheries Lake and Ddol Nature Park.
A delightful walk (4 1/4 miles, climbing 555ft) ideal to work up a good appetite before lunch or dinner in the Cherry Pie.
The walk starts facing the Cherry Pie Inn (P). Take the minor road to the left of the Inn up Gledlom Hill. At Gledlom Cottage (1) bear right on the track towards Gledlom Farm to your left. Carry on to the Ysceifiog Road and turn left towards the village (3). At the Village Hall (4) turn right onto a country road and carry on down a steep hill. At the bottom cross the bridge over the stream and turn left onto a path alongside the stream (5). Follow the path to the Fisheries Lake (6). Continue on the path on the south-
Turn right where the path joins the road and after 50m you will see the entrance to Ddol Nature Park on your left (7). Follow the circular walk around the park returning to the starting point. Turn right up the hill on the Ysceifiog Road. Take the bridal path to the right (8) which will bring you to Glan Llyn House (9). Go straight ahead to return to the Cherry Pie Inn.
Paths on this walk can be muddy after wet weather. Boots are recommended.
